Bat Wing Bulky : This vintage 1950s pattern from American Thread Company creates the cardigan sweater pictured above. The bat wing design, in bulk yarn has four large buttons that draws the eye back to center perfectly. This pattern is sized 12, 14 and 16.
 
Materials Required:
  • AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" BULKY YARN 18 (20, 22) ozs. Aquamarine Blue or color of your choice.
  • 1 pr. plastic knitting needles No.8.
  • 1 pr. wooden knitting needles No. 11.
  • 1 large stitch holder.4 pearl buttons 1 inch In diameter.
GAUGE: Pattern-4 sts = 1 inch. 4 rows = 1 inch.
