Description

Reversible Cloche : This pdf pattern contains directions to crochet the hat shown. This pretty cloche is crocheted with loosely and all the sc's are pulled up about 1/2 inch, giving it that textured look and feel. The hat is made up of two separate pieces, each in a different color, layered one on top of the other and stitched at the bottom -- thus making it reversible. A ribbon is weaved through giving a decorative touch. This vintage 1950s pattern, from American Thread Company, is One Size.
 
Materials Required:
  • AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" SOCK and SWEATER YARN 1 oz. each Canary and Lt. Gray or colors of your choice.
  • Aluminum crochet hook size H.
  • 1 yd. 3/8-inch Yellow grosgrain ribbon.
 
GAUGE: 9 sts = 2 inches. 7 rounds = 2 inches.
