Description
Rib Stripe Cardigan: This pattern contains directions for knitting, crochet detail, the cardigan pictured. The official 1956 McCalls Needlecraft Magazine description: "Classic cardigan looks new in puckered knit resembling seersucker. Bands of ribbing alternated with bands of stockinette achieve this textured.". The long sleeve cardigan also features long sleeves, a high round neckline, front button band, and hip length.

- Body Bust Size: 32" (34"-36"-38").
- Blocked Bust Size: 35" (37"-39"-41" ).
MATERIALS:
- Spinnerin Shrink-Resistant Candour, 3 (3-4-4) 3-oz. skeins.
- Knitting needles Nos. 2 and 4. (Or English sizes 11 and 9.)
- Steel crochet hook No. 3.
- 1 ½ yds. 1" grosgrain ribbon.
- Eight buttons.
- Two stitch holders.
