Ribbed Cardigan, Mens Knitting Pattern Size 38 to 46

Ribbed Cardigan : This pattern contains instructions to knit the cardigan pictured. Not only is this a fabulous vintage photo, the cardigans not bad either ! A ribbed cardigan in two colors ... one color for the front and sleeves, and a second color for the back. You could, of course, make it one solid color. The cardigan is front buttoned with long sleeves and all over ribbing. It is mens size 38, 40, 42, 44 and 46. The design is vintage 1951.

Materials:   "Botany" Sport Yarn (2-oz. skeins), 5 skeins color 410 Medieval Blue, for sizes 38 and 40; 6 skeins for sizes 42, 44, 46. 3 skeins color 960 gray for sizes 38 and 40; 4 skeins for sizes 42, 44, 46;    Bone knitting needles Nos. 3 and 6 (standard). English sizes, 10 and 7;   Tapestry needle;   2 yards ribbon.

GAUGE: 5 sts=1"; 6 rows= 1" on No. 6 needles.
