Ribbon Gold Two Piece Dress Knitting Pattern

Ribbon and Gold : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet edges the dress pictured. This design is for a two piece dress with a long top and skirt. The blouse, with round neckline and hood and eye closure is semi fitted with an attractive striped pattern stitch. The skirt is A-Line with back zipper and above ankle (or desired) length. The vintage 1949 pattern is sized for misses 12, 14, 16 and 18. Materials may be a challenge to substitute, but the finished garment will be well worth the research.

Materials:   Ruban d'Art, 100 yd. spools. For Blouse: 4 (4,5,6) spools Thrush Brown (A); 2 (2,2,3) spools Cocoa (B); Gold Fildor (100-yd. spools) 2 (2,3,3);   No. 10 knitting needles;   Steel crochet hook No.2;   6 small buttons;   For Skirt: 11 (11, 12, 13) spools of A;   7” zipper.
