Ripple Rythms Crochet Doily Pattern

Ripple Rhythm :  This pattern contains instructions to crochet the doily shown.   A dense lacy doily with a pattern stitch that gives it a feeling of movement - thus the name Ripple Rhythm.   The doily has a center leaf type motif and a scalloped fan border.  The finished doily is medium sized, measuring 14 inches in diameter.   The pattern is vintage 1950s from Coats and Clark. 

Materials:

•  J.& P. COATS BIG BALL BEST SIX CORD MERCERIZED CROCHET, Art. A.l04, Size 30: 2 balls of Ecru; or,
• CLARK'SBIG BALL MERCERIZED CROCHET, Art. B.34, Size 30: 2 balls of Ecru.
• MilwardsSteel Crochet Hook No. 10.
