Description

Rippled Shell : This pattern contains directions to crochet the shell shown. This pattern contains instructions to crochet the top shown above. What a perfectly fun top for summer. It features bright and bold ripples, a wide neckline, long and loose fitting. And to take it totally over the top, the ripples finish at the hemline in diamond points that are fringed. The pattern, vintage 1960s from American Thread, is sized Small to Large. Directions are written for small, with changes for medium and large shown in parentheses.

Materials Required:  AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" KNITTING WORSTED 6 (7, 8) ounces each Bittersweet and Coral 4 (5,6) ounces Pink;   Plastic Crochet Hook Size J
