Roman Strip Afghan : This pattern contains directions for making as easy-to-knit Roman Stripe afghan in the simple garter stitch. The bands of graduating or contrasting colors form the attractive striped chevron pattern. A color chart is included in pattern. The finished afghan measures 50 x 75 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7077.  The newspaper description:  "Great for games, on trips for an extra blanket or colorful throw in your play room. Jiffy knit jester afghan with pompom trim. Knit 4 strips in 4 colors. Each strip 12-1/2 by 75 inches".
