Description

Rose Afghan : This pattern contains instructions to crochet the pattern shown above. .The afghan is crocheted in strips, cross-stitch roses go on last. Puff stitches border each strip. The outer strips are wider than the center ones. Size of the afghan is 51 x 68 inches. Chart is, of course, included for the cross stitch.

Materials:  American Thread Dawn Knitting Worsted (4·fold), 1oz. skeins; 46 skeins of light gray 1112.1 for background; 1 skein each of light pink No. 1103; light wild rose No. 1104.5; dark wild rose No. -1106; maroon No. 1134; nile green No. 1123; golf green No. 1125 and dark green No. 1127; 2 skeins each of wild rose No. 1105 and medium wild rose No. 1105.5;   One 9·inch crochet hook;   No.7. Tapestry needle.
