Rose Embroidered Crochet Doily Pattern

Rose Doily : This pattern contains directions to crochet the doily shown. This design was released on American Thread Leaflet 1034. The doily is worked in rounds of mesh and lacy delight with an outer band being a solid landscape for rose embroidery upon completion. The doily, depending upon materials used, can be made at 8 or 10 1/2 inches in diameter.

"The novelty of this doily is in the ring of little rosebuds embroidered in pink and green around the border to resemble needlepoint".
