Rose Filet Crochet Centerpiece Doily No R2957

Rose Filet Centerpiece:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured.   This filet doily is a masterpiece of a doily design.  Worked in No 50 crochet cotton, the center is a large full bloom rose, surrounded by mesh and a scalloped border.  The finished piece will measure 17 x 19 inches. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Peggy Roberts 2957 in 1950. 

Materials:  2 Large Balls Mercerized Crochet Cotton, Size 5;   Steel Crochet Hook No. 7 (Standard Size).
