Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This filet crocheted chair set is made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. If desired the set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as ends for scarfs.  When completed, the chair back will measure 13 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 7 x 12 inches each.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7202 in 1942.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: No. 50 Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton and a No. 14 steel crochet hook.  8 (175 yard) balls of cotton will make a chair set or two scarf ends.
