Filet Crochet Cloth: This pattern gives instructions for a filet crochet cloth worked in a beautiful all-over design of roses. The cloth can be made either of No 50 Cotton or of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting cotton, used singly or doubly. Due to size, the pattern chart is given on two sheets, with clear arrow marks on where to join.

This is a mail order pattern, typically purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 790.  The newspaper description:  "Lasting lovliness you'll always cherish! This cloth is done in filet crochet in any of three sizes according to the cotton you use. That filet crochet cloth you've always longed for!".
