Rose Flower Filet Crochet Square Design 3125

Filet Crochet Squares:  This pattern gives directions to create the squares pictured.  These two filet designs - the one a rose and the other a dahlia are to be worked in string or in fine crochet cotton. They may be combined to form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, pillows and buffet sets; each design may be used alone if desired.   Crochet the squares at 6-1/2 or 10 inches, depending upon materials used.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as The American Weekly 3125 in 1947.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:   Unbleached crochet and knitting cotton in (800 yard) skeins and a No. 7 steel crochet hook or No. 50 mercerized cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook (Each square requires approximately 150 yards of heavy cotton or 92 yards of fine cotton)
