Rose Window Bedspread Design : This pattern contains directions for create the spread shown. Worked in file crochet with included chart, the block motif, when joined, creates an image of a rose within a diamond within a large round window. Each block measures about 10 3/4 inches square when blocked and required 190 yards. For a single size spread, about 76 x 108 inches, make 7 x 10 blocks. For a double size spread about 87 x 108 inches, make 8 x 10 blocks. This design is vintage 1935 from Lily Mills.

Materials:

• Lily's Daisy Mercerized Crochet Cotton, Size 20, in White, Ivory, Cream or Ecru. Single Size-34 balls. double Size-39 balls.
• Steel Crochet Hook Size 9.
