Round Flower Crocheted Rug Pattern, CK-504

Crochet a Cotton Rug : This pattern contains instructions to crochet the rug shown. Now, this is a fairly poor picture, going all the back to the 1930's. The pattern initiated with the Womans Home Companion Magazine where it was issued as leaflet CK-504. The rug, worked in a background color and at least four other colors for the flower and leaf motifs is round - with scalloped edges - and will measure 32 inches in diameter when completed. This rug is partially worked in loop stitch and has fluff fringe all the way around.

MATERIALS NEEDED

• Lily Knitting and Crochet Cotton Yarn. Art. 600 - 16 skeins of tea rose and 1 skein each of cream and medium green: or Enterprise Cotton Yarn-13 balls tea rose and 1 ball each of ivory and medium green or other colors you desire to blend with your room.
• Steel crochet hook size O.
