Round Oval Crochet Doilies American Weekly 3088

Crocheted Doilies : This pattern contains instructions to crochet all three of the doilies pictured above. There different styles for the fun of crochet and to grace your home.Each doily may be created in three sizes different sizes, depending upon materials selected. 

Materials:  The first style, round, is 8 inches across and calls for No 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No 12 Steel Crochet Hook;   The second style, round, is 9 inches across and calls for No 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No 10 Steel Crochet Hook.   The third style, oval, measures 9 x 12 1/2 and calls for Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton and a No 8 steel crochet hook.

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspaper advertisements.. This pattern was marketed under the name of The American Weekly 3088 in 1951.  It was also marketed under the Alice Brooks brand.
