Ruffle Doily:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured.   A beginners easy pattern, the doily features a 5 inch wheel center surrounded by a wide ruffle.   The finished doily measures 12 inches in diameter. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Peggy Roberts R-2483 in 1947.   

MATERIALS:   1 large ball (400 yds) mercerized crochet cotton, size 20;   Steel crochet hook, #10.
