Description

Fairy Frosting :  This pattern contains directions to crochet the set pictured.   Coats and Clark, vintage 1940s, named this Set Fairy Frosting.   I would assume this would be due to the thick layers of fluff ... like the delicious frosting on a cake.    The set includes two different sized doilies - a large oval doily measuring 16 x 20 inches and a smaller round doily that is 10 inches in diameter.     Use as a set on a buffet or sofa table, or mix and match around the house.   

Materials: 

  • - J&P Coats or Clarks O.N.T. Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet, Size 20, in white or ecru 
  • - Steel Crochet Hook No 9.
