It is simple in design, made for warmth and durability. This is a Minerva pattern from 1943. The finished size is approx. 54 x 72 inches.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • MINERVA MILADY KNITTING YARN (4 ounce skeins), 1 Skein each of 12 Assorted Colors, 1 Skein of Black to join Squares, 1 Skein each of 2 contrasting Colors for Border (Color combinations also given for Germantown Yarns)
  • 1 AFGHAN HOOK-Size 8-10 inch
  • 1 TAPESTRY NEEDLE

GAUGE: Knitting Yarn-4 Sts to 1 inch
Germantown-8 ½ Sts to 2 inches
