Description

A-Satchel : This pattern contains instructions to crochet the satchel shown above. The bag, made up in two colors with an afghan stitch, features a fold over and buttoned flap, carrying handle and ample room. The height is not stated, but the width is 23 inches; depth looks to be 4 or 5 inches. The design is vintage 1960s from Coats & Clarks.

Materials:  COATS & CLARK'S O.N.T.® RUG YARN (70 yard skeins): 2 skeins of No.1 White and 3 skeins of No. 134 New Gold';   Afghan Hook Size 1;   2 flat 12-inch rulers;   2 rings;   1 button each 1 1/4 inches in diameter;   lining material.
