This rug Is worked entirely in single crochet. Use rug cotton in four colors with white or use scraps of many colors. Can be made in two sizes - 30x36 or 30x50 inches.

Description

Crocheted Rug: This pattern contains directions to crochet the rug shown. This is both an attractive and functional piece. Crocheted in 4 contrasting colors in oval rows; the piece is worked in heavy rug cotton or Candlewick. Make the rug in either the large version at 30 x 50 inches, or a smaller version that is 30 x 36 inches (just barely oval).

This is an mail order pattern, which were purchased through newspaper advertisements. This pattern was marketed as American Weekly 3142 in 1951.
