Description

Shell Stitch Cardigan :  This pattern contains instructions to crochet the cardigan shown above. More than just another crochet cardigan, this is a great looking blouse. It is hip length, three quarter extended sleeves, flaps and buttons galore. This is a sure attention getter that you will be pleased to say you made! The pattern, vintage 1950s, is sized 12 to 18. Directions are written for a size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 shown in parentheses. 

Materials: - J&P Coats "Knit-Cro-Sheen," Art.A: 64: 12 (12, 13, 13) balls of Hunters Green;   No 7 steel crochet hook;    40 small buttons;    2 yds of 1" grosgrain ribbon to match. 

GAUGE: 3 shells and 4 sc = 2"; 9 rows = 2".    Crocheted Bust Measurements Buttoned: 34 (36, 38, 40)".
