Shell Stitch Crochet Slippers Pattern Wedgies

House Slippers No 941 : This pattern gives directions to crochet the slippers pictured.  This vintage 1949 design was billed as 'house slippers', although they more closely resemble ballet slippers.  NOTE: Purchased soles are required for the bottoms. These slippers are classic (vintage) wedgies completed entirely in shell stitch. The features a tie just below the ankles. They are sized Small, Medium and Large. 

Materials:  Dritz British Needlepoint Wool, Art. 141. 4 skeins for small size; 5 skeins for medium and large;   Dritz metal crochet hook. No.3 for small size; No.1 for medium; No. 00 for large;   - Dritz wedge soles No. 7016.
