Description

Chevron Jacket : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the jacket shown. This knitted jacket is on the shorter side, just waist length, perfect to compliment dresses and skirts. It has three quarter length sleeves and an open front. The truly defining stand-out features in the all-over Chevron pattern stitch, giving such a textural effect. The knitting pattern, vintage 1960s from Needle and Yarn, is misses size 10, 12, 14 and 16. The directions are written for a size 10, with changes shown in parentheses.

Materials:

  • COATS & CLARK'S "Red Heart" Super Fingering, 3 Ply (1-oz, "Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins), 8 (9-10,- 11) skeins of No. 809 Lt. Blue.
  • Knitting needles, 1 pro No.3.
  • MILWARDS Steel Crochet Hook No. 1.

GAUGE: 15 sts = 2"; 9 rows = 1".
