Description

B-657 : This pattern contains instructions to knit the top pictured above. The pattern is referenced as a cardigan, however, is quite buttoned blouse like, with a round neckline, short sleeves and attractive diamond motif in lower half. It is sized 10 to 18. Instructions are written for a size 10, with changes for 12, 14, 16 and 18 shown in parentheses. The pattern is vintage 1960s from Coats & Clarks.

Materials:

  • - COATS & CLARK'S RED HEART® KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply ("Tangle-Proof" Pull- Out Skeins): 8 ounces of any color.
  • - Circular Needle No. 13. NOTE: For ease in working, a circular needle is recommended to accommodate a greater amount of stitches.
  • - 5 buttons.

GAUGE: 3 sts = 1 inch; 4 rows = 1 inch.
