Description

Patterned Cardigan : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the cardigan shown. The 1955 magazine description: "High score fashion – the nub patterned cardigan tops bare-armed or long sleeved blouses can also go on its own." The sleeveless cardigan, with extended shoulders, is below waist length with front banded button band.   Directions are for bust size 36. Changes for bust sizes 38, 40, 42 are in parentheses. Blocked Bust Size: 38" ( 40"-42"- 44" ). Easy-fit garment.

Materials:  Bear Brand or Fleisher's Half'n Half, 8 (8-9-9) 1-oz. skeins;   Bucilla plastic knitting needles Nos. 1 and 3. (Or, English sizes, 12 and 10.);   Bucilla plastic crochet hook No. 2;   Seven buttons.   (Gauge: 15 sts=2" ; 10 rows=1")
