Spiderweb Crochet Runner Mats, Design 7050

Crocheted Scarfs and Mat:  This pattern contains directions for a crocheted scarf and mat set worked in the spider-web design using either heavy or fine cotton.  Depending on materials selected, the mats will measure 9 x 13 or 12 x 17.  The scarf directions are 9 x 22 or 12 x 28 inches, but may be made at any length desired.  The official newspaper description:  "Worthy of luncheon parties!  Classic mat and scarf set is done in spiderweb design with picot edging". 

This is a Mail Order design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7050 in 1950.  . It was featured in the 1950 Alice Brooks Designs Catalog.
