Crocheted Doilies: These doilies when made of string measure 16 inches, 12 inches and 5 inches in diameter and make very attractive buffet and luncheon sets. If made of No. 50 white Mercerized crochet cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook they make lovely lacy doilies.
This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers. The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 1204 in 1936.
MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1 (800 yard) skein of unbleached crochet and knitting cotton and a No. 7 steel crochet hook will make 2 large, 5 medium and 2 small doilies.
