Star Leaf Doily Crochet Pattern, Designs of the Month

Star Leaf Doily:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily shown.   This is a mail away pattern from Cappers Weekly magazine, dating back to 1948.  Named 'Star Leaf' for the apparent reasons, but has a bit of a wheel motif going on as well.  "We proudly give you this simple yet beautiful design for a doily. It will add charm to any table-or to any room"  The actual size is not stated; the picture implies medium.  

Materials: Requires approximately 350 yards of size 30 crochet cotton and a size 11 crochet hook.
