Description

Main Street Dress : The pattern contains instructions to knit, crochet edges, the attractive two piece dress pictured above. This dress has set-in cap sleeves and a draped neckline. Wear the blouse in or out. It is knit on a circular needle in stockinette stitch. The vintage 1965 pattern is sized 10 to 18. Instructions are written for Size 10, with changes for 12, 14, 16 and 18 shown in parentheses. A four page Knitting Tips handout is included.

Materials:

  • Spinnerin Mohair Boncle or Alpine or Spinnerin Cortina or Mohair.
  • 24 inch circular needle No 10 1/2
  • 14 inch knitting needles No 10 1/2 (Or English Size 2)
  • Steel crochet hook No. 00.
  • One yard 1/2 inch elastic
  • Two Stitch holders
  • Large eyed needle

Gauge: 3 sts = 1 inch; 11 rows = 2 inches.
