Striped Greek Key Crochet Afghan Pattern

Comfy - Cozy Afghan :   This pattern gives directions to crochet the afghan pictured.  This patterns is in the Designs of the  Month Series that appeared in Cappers Weekly Magazine 1946 through 1949.  " Here is an exciting new design for a crocheted afghan. Just the right size and will keep you warm as toast during chilly moments. The completed size of afghan is about 54"x 66".  This afghan is made up of strips, beginning and ending with a figured strip. Five figured strips and four plain strips are used.

Materials:   Approximately 16 two-ounce skeins of Yellow Knitting Worsted (or desired light shade of yarn), and 34 two-ounce skeins of Dark Green (or desired dark shade of yarn);   A size 1 crochet hook is used.
