THIS “POORBOY" shell is worked in easy-rib knitting and will delight the young set! Make it in white or her favorite color!  Pattern No 5118 has knit directions - teen sizes 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 inclusive. 

Description

Shell in Rib Knit:    This pattern gives directions to knit the shell pictured.   This is a sleeveless top in textured rib stitch in six strand 100% Mercerized Crochet Cotton.   The pattern is written for teen size 10, with changes for 12, 14, 16 and 18 in parenthesis.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot in 1965. 

Materials:  DIAMOND "SWISS" COTE D'AZUR -- 50 gram balls: 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7) Balls in color desired. (COTE D'AZUR is 100% Mercerized Cotton, Six-strand.) NEEDLES: Knitting Needles - 1 pair No, 5 Crochet Hook- Steel No. 1
