Three Crochet Doilies, Alice Brooks 7424

Crocheted Doilies:  This pattern contains directions for three crocheted doilies, all different in design; all very simple to make. Use either fine or heavy cotton; the choice of cotton governs the size and texture of doilies.   Each doily may be crocheted in two sizes.   The top doily is 9-1/4 or 13 inches.  The middle doily is 10-1/2 or 15-1/2 inches.  The bottom doily is 10 or 14 inches. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7524.  The newspaper description:  "Pretty, lacy crochet and so useful around the home! Great gift for the bride, also protection to furniture tops. Use No 30 crochet cotton for doilies about 9-1/2, 10, 10-1/2 inches; larger with bedspread cotton".
