Three Crochet Edgings, Ellen Bruce E-895

Handkerchief Edgings:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the three edgings pictured.   They are named Spanish Fan, Ruffled Pineapple and Mesh.  The width is not stated, but as handkerchief edgings, I suggest in the 1/2 inch range.   

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper and catalogs.  This Needlework Bureau pattern was marketed as Ellen Bruce E-895 in 1950,   The pattern is written in an older style, suggesting it may have been released at an earlier date as well.  The newspaper description:  "A pretty mesh, Spanish fan and ruffled pineapple are lacy edgings which are easy to crochet on gift handkerchiefs".

Materials:  Use No. 70 tatting thread and No. 10 steel crochet hook
