Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This pattern contains directions for a filet crochet chair set to be made of No. 50 Cotton. Set can be used on a buffet or chair back as ends for scarfs, if desired. The arm rests, featuring one kitten in a basket will measure 7 x 12 inches.  The chair back has three kittens in the basket and measures 13 x 16 inches.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as The American Weekly 3155 in 1951.  The newspaper description:  "Here is your lovely new chair set. Very simple filet crochet that may also be used as scarf ends. Chain and double crochet make simple to do filet crochet".
