Three Piece Suit Knitting Pattern, Blouse Jacket Skirt

Three Piece Suit: This vintage 1966 pattern contains instruction to knit the three piece suit pictured above. This classic suit includes a Collared Long Sleeve Jacket, a long Sleeveless Shell Top and a slightly flared (24 - 24.5 inch length) skirt. The directions given in size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 shown in parenthesis (Bust 32 - 38 inches ; Waist 25 - 30 inches).

Materials:

• - REYNOLDS Plumage (1 oz. ball): Jacket and Skirt-24 (26-28-30) balls and Mohair No. 1-1 ball. Blouse: REYNOLDS Mohair No. 1 - 6 (7-8-8) balls. 3 buttons. Lining for jacket (op- tional);
• - 7" skirt zipper;
• - 1 yd. of 1" ribbon; 1 1/2 yds. of 2" ribbon.
• - Knitting Needles: 1 pair each No.7 and No. 10 or sizes required to knit to gauge.

Gauge: Plumage on No. 10 needles- 7 sts = 2"; 5 rows = 1". Mohair on No. 7 needles-5 sts = 1"; 7 rows = 1".
