Girls Hooded Cardigan: This pattern gives directions to knit, crochet detail, the cardigan pictured. "Extra-warm cardigan for baby boys or girls, knitted with double strand of yarn in stockinette and seed stitches, can be made with hood attached or separate; each piece is complete in itself, sewn to the other at neckline. Cardigan starts at the top, is worked in one piece with raglan-sleeve shaping to underarms; the sleeves and body of sweater are then knitted separately down to lower edges. Snug hood has beading row at center of front ribbing for crocheted chain-tie, pompon-trimmed. For sizes 1 to 3."
