Shaded rose color, apple green and lavender are used for the 1-3/4 inch pansies around the edge of the 10-inch doily at top; the shaded thread of purple, lavender, and yellows is used for the 1-1/2 inch pansies bordering the smaller doily at bottom of the illustration. The centers are white. Both doilies are easily crocheted, and pretty to use under flower bowls.

Description

Two Crocheted Pansy Doilies:  This pattern gives directions to crochet both of the doilies pictured.   These designs feature an interesting central motif surrounded by pansy borders.  The top doily pictured measures 10 inches with a 1-3/4 inch border and the bottom design.  The actual size of the bottom doily is not stated.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Carol Curtis No 488 in 1952.

Materials:  FIRST DOILY:  1 ball Lily No 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton, 1 ball Lily Sil-Tone Mercerized Crochet Cotton in shaded rose, lavender, # 12 Steel Crochet Hook
