Two Piece Checked Suit Knitting Pattern

Les Bouquets Checked Suit : This pattern contains directions to knit the suit pictured. This is a lovely design with the classic 1960's style we attribute to Jackie O'. This is a two piece design with a jacket and a skirt. The skirt is straight with back zip closure. The jacket is below waist length with large patch pockets, high round neckline, front button band and three quarter sleeves. The checked pattern stitch is nicely offset with wide bias trim around all the openings and the pockets. The pattern is written for misses size 12, with changes for 14 and 16 in parentheses. This is an intermediate to advanced pattern.
