Two Piece Dress Knitting Pattern, Pleated Skirt

Two Piece Dress with Pleated Skirt: This pattern gives directions to knit, crochet detail, the dress shown. What a splendid vintage dress design. This is a two piece dress, with blouse and skirt. The blouse, with back button neck closure, is fitted with long sleeves and an attractive chevron stripe at the high round neckline. The striped is repeated as straight at sleeve ends. The skirt is pleated and has an elastic waist casing. The pattern is sized for misses and women 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20. This is an intermediate to advanced pattern.

MATERIALS:

• Botany Boucle (1 oz. pull skein). Blouse: 7 (8, 9, 10, 11) sks. Ash Grey (A); 1 (1, 1, 2, 2) sks. each of Wintergreen (B) and Flame (C). Skirt: 22 (24, 26, 28, 30) sks., Ash Gre (A).
• No. 2 knitting needles.
• No. 2 circular needle.
• No. 2 steel crochet hook.
• Bobbins.
• 1 yd. 1/2" elastic.
• 4 buttons.

GAUGE: 8 sts = 1"; 10 rows = 1". 6 ridges (garter st) = 1".

Knitted Bust Measurements: 34 (36, 38, 40, 42)".
