Description

Knitted Suit : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the suit pictured. This is one of those WOW pieces with incredible 1940s detail still showing in this 1951 design.  The long sleeved nipped waist jacket, front buttoned with collar, fits over a slim skirt   The pattern is misses sized 14, 16 and 18.

Materials:   Bear Brand Petite Knitting Worsted, 5 2-oz. skeins for skirt; 6 (6-7) skeins for jacket;   Bucilla circular steel knitting needle, No.3;   Bucilla plastic knitting needles, No.3 (standard). English size, 10;   Bucilla steel crochet hook, size 3.

GAUGE: Jacket pattern, 8 sts= 1" (blocked). Skirt, 15 sts=2".
