Description

Two Piece Suit: This pattern contains directions for knitting the suit pictured. This is a two piece design that includes the jacket and the skirt. The skirt is standard fair, worked in stockinette, straight with elasticized waistline and knee length. The jacket is worked in a checked pattern stitch in two colors, with contrast trim in one of the colors. The jacket is semi-fitted with long sleeves, a small notched collar, small bottom slit pockets and hip length. This 1950 design is sized for misses 12, 14 and 16.

Materials:

  • Beehive Catriona Crepe, 1-oz. skein. Navy (MC) 11 (12,13) sks. White (CC) 4 (4,5) sks.
  • No. 1 and No. 2 knitting needles.
  • 8 buttons.
  • 1 yd. elastic.

GAUGE Stockinette St: 9 1/2 sts =1"; 12 rows =1". Pattern St: 9 1/2 sts = 1"; 18 rows =1".

Bust Measurements Blocked: 32 (34, 36)".
