Two Piece Suit Knitting Pattern with Jacket Skirt

Two Piece Suit : This pattern contains directions for knitting, crochet detail, the suit pictured. The skirt is standard fair, straight and pull-on with an elasticized waist casing. The jacket, however, is a most interesting affair. Vest type with three quarter sleeves in a contrast color and belt. There jacket is designed to wear over a blouse or with scarves securely tucked. The vintage 1948 knitted design is sized for misses 14, 16, 18 and 20.

• Botany Dress Yarn. Jacket: 4, 2-oz. skeins Navy (MC), 2 (2,2,3) skeins Beige (CC). Skirt: 7, 2-oz. skeins MC.
• No. 1 circular needle. No. 1

• steel crochet hook.
• 12 yd. grosgrain ribbon,
• shoulder pads,
• large button molds.
• 3 yds of round elastic.

GAUGE: 8 sts =1". 10 rows =1'.
