Description

Filet Crocheted Chair Set: This pattern contains directions for making a filet crocheted chair set worked in No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. 'If desired the set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as scarf ends. Included in the pattern is a chart for the chair back and the arm rest.   When completed the chair back will measure 12-1/2 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 6 x 12 inches each.   NOTE:  The chair back chart has a black line that runs through a row.  It does not obstruct the chart from being usable. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7580 in 1943.  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in 175 yard balls and a No. 12 steel crochet hook. 7 balls of cotton will make a chair set or 2 scarf ends.
