Description

Two Tone Carriage Robe: This pattern contains directions to knit the carriage robe pictured. This design, measuring 26 x 30 inches when completed, makes a perfect lab robe, or small afghan for the couch. It is knit in Sock and Sweater Yarn in an easy pattern stitch in one color, with a second color border band all the way around. The pattern is vintage 1954.

Materials:

  • Chadwick's Red Heart Sock and Sweater Yarn. 3 Ply, Shrink-and Stretch Resist Finish, Art. E. 255 (1-oz. Tangle-Proof pull-out skein) : 4 sks of Bittersweet (A) and 2 sks. of Pink (B).
  • No. 4 knitting needles.

GAUGE: 7 sts = 1"; 12 rows = 1".
