Victorian Filet Chair Set Pillow Design 2532

Filet Crochet Chair Set:   This filet crocheted chair set and its matching pillow are made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The chair set may also be used as a buffet set or the chair back may be used as ends for scarfs. The pattern includes a filet chart for the pillow, chair back and arm rest.  When completed, the chair back measures 13 x 16-1/2 inches and the arm rests are 7 x 13-1/2 inches each.   The pillow is 18-1/2 inches square. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2532 in 1940.  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (175 yard) balls and a No. 12 steel crochet hook.   5 balls of cotton are required for a chair set, a pillow top or 2 scarf ends.
