Victoriana Crochet Afghan Pattern Leaf Embroidery

Victoriana Throw : This pattern contains directions to crochet the afghan shown. A pretty piece, with embroidered Victorian accents according to the Spool Cotton Company, when they released the design way back in 1939. The afghan is crocheted and then the edges and leaf display are embroidered. The finished piece measures 47 x 67 inches. Note : An embroidery chart is not included. Instructions for placemat are stated only.

Materials;

• CHADWICK'S RED HEART AFGHAN WOOL, 32 skeins (1 oz. skeins) of Ashes of Roses, and 14 skeins (¾ oz. skeim) of Shaded Blues.
• MILWARD'S CASEIN CROCHET HOOK No.4.

GAUGE: 9 dc make 2 inches; 3 rows (2 s c-rows and, 1 d c-row) make 1 inch.
