Victoriana Linen Crochet Doily Pattern

S-216 Victoriana :  This pattern contains instructions to crochet the doily pictured. An intricate piece, the Victoriana doily has a 8 inch linen center, surrounded by lacy crochet braid and a deeply scalloped edge. The doily, when completed measures 17-1/2 inches in diameter. The design is vintage 1950s from Coats Clarks. 

MATERIALS: 

• - CLARK'S BIG BALL MERCERIZED CROCHET, Art. B.34, Size 30: 1 ball each of No. 181 Shaded Lt Yellows and No 76 Robinette; OR
• - J& P. Coats Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet, Art. A.104, Size 30: 1 ball each of No 181 Shaded Lt Yellows and a color of your own choice. 
• - Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 10. 
• - A piece of aqua linen about 9 inches square.
