This filet chair set was inspired by the type of vessels that the early New World explorers set sail in. Everyone in the family will claim the chair it adorns as his or her favorite place.

Description

Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the chair set pictured - a wonderful Viking Ship motif.   "It was in just such a sailing vessel as the one pictured above that Columbus found his way to the New World. Perhaps the presence of this picturesque chair set will help to send your daydreams on their way as you lean back in your easy chair. The chair set works up quickly in size 20 cotton and the pattern is easy to follow. You might want to make some sets as Christmas gifts, so don't delay in getting started".   Note:  This pattern is written in All-Caps.   Full Page charts included.

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as No 2104 by Anne Cabot in 1951.  It was previously marketed under the Needlework Bureau brand in 1942.
